A newly built, high performing bid function is looking for a Bid Manager / Writer to take full ownership of compelling, compliant and successful bids across the UK health and public sector technology space. This role suits someone who loves shaping winning narratives, thrives in autonomy, and knows how to run a bid from first sight of an opportunity right through to submission.
What the role involves:
- Managing 2–3 live bids at any one time, from strategy to submission
- Leading storyboarding, win themes and content shaping
- Writing clear, persuasive, and evaluation friendly responses
- Coordinating SMEs, pricing specialists and reviewers
- Ensuring compliance across all RFI/RFP/ITT requirements
- Using and enhancing a well established bid library
- Delivering standalone RFIs (2–4 week cycles) and contributing to larger team bids (6–8 week cycles)
What’s needed:
- Proven experience owning and delivering NHS or public sector bids
- Strong written communication and ability to create a single, consistent voice
- Confidence running bid timelines, reviews and stakeholder inputs
- Understanding of procurement processes and regulated environments
- Ability to operate independently while working with a dispersed team
- Familiarity with healthcare or health tech
The team:
