Bid Solutions is working with a well-regarded Top 100 law firm to find an experienced Bid Manager for a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a firm known for its collaborative culture, quality work and genuine commitment to work-life balance, and the bids function is highly valued internally.
THE ROLE
You'll own the full bid lifecycle, from kick-off through to submission and presentation, working directly with partners and senior stakeholders. Alongside day-to-day bid management, you'll also take responsibility for keeping the team's library, processes and CRM in good shape.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Project managing a varied portfolio of bids end-to-end
- Drafting, editing and synthesising compelling bid content
- Developing winning strategies with partners
- Running presentation rehearsals and coaching pitch teams
- Conducting win/loss reviews and sharing best practice
- Maintaining tender libraries and the firm's CRM system
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years' bid management experience in a professional services environment
- A genuine writer, able to draft and craft content, not just project-manage
- Comfortable influencing and coaching at partner level
- Calm under pressure with strong attention to detail
- Experience in public sector bidding is a bonus but not essential
