Do you have a passion for crafting bids that genuinely win? We’re looking for a talented Proposal Manager to join our client within the construction sector, who brings creativity, rigour and real persuasive writing skill to every submission.

This is a role where your words make a difference. You’ll shape how we present ourselves to clients, working across a collaborative team to produce bids that are clear, compelling and customer focused. Working flexibly between home and their Weybridge office, you’ll be at the heart of their bid function, influencing quality, improving process and helping them win work that matters.

Proposal Manager Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading the development of bespoke, high-quality bid submissions from start to finish
  • Facilitating answer plan sessions and win theme workshops with stakeholders
  • Writing, editing and reviewing tender responses to ensure they’re persuasive and on brand
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts and graphic designers to bring proposals to life visually
  • Supporting the creation of customer presentations and identifying creative initiatives
  • Ensuring the formal bid process is followed and continuously improved
Proposal Manager Experience & Skills Required:
  • Experience as a Bid Writer, Bid Editor, Bid Coordinator or in a similar proposal role
  • Strong bid writing and editing skills – you know how to make words win
  • Experience managing the tender review process and resource planning
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign
  • A relevant degree or equivalent is desirable, but not essential
