We’re recruiting a Strategic Bid Manager to join a tight-knit, creative and strategic team working exclusively on high-value education projects through the Department for Education Construction Framework across England. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a team that genuinely pushes boundaries on innovation, sustainability and what great bidding looks like.

The Strategic Bid Manager Role: You’ll lead the full customer journey from Expression of Interest through to Invitation to Tender and into the early CEM stages, before handing over to the local construction team. Working in close collaboration with regional teams, you’ll be responsible for achieving a minimum 50%-win rate on High Value Band DfE Framework projects, a target that reflects both the ambition of the team and the quality of the client relationship. This isn’t a back-office bid role. You’ll be front and centre with the customer, shaping preconstruction strategy and bringing fresh thinking to every submission.

What The Strategic Bid Manager Will Need:

  • Significant experience in a bid management role within construction
  • Experience of DfE bidding and/or preconstruction project management

Bonus Points For:

  • APM qualifications or ChPP
  • Familiarity with resource and schedule management platforms
  • Adobe InDesign
