We are looking for a full time Senior Wellbeing Community Worker to join our Leeds Sensory Service on a fixed term contract to August 2028.
Be responsible for community-based services that offer hearing aid support, information, advice, and guidance.
Work alongside the social worker providing direct support to service users, completing assessments, risk assessments and support plans.
Management of staff including supervisions, training and allocating work.
To be successful for this post, you will be:
- Able to communicate effectively with all people across the sensory spectrum.
- Able to undertake full needs-led assessments, risk assessments and support planning.
- Able to manage and take responsibility for managing services including working with partner organisations.
- Experience of providing comprehensive Information, Advice and Guidance services.
- BSL Level 3 or working towards Level 3.
- Experience of managing and supervising staff.
