We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Team Manager to manage our well-established team that provides a high-quality service, on behalf of Northumberland County Council, to those with a visual impairment and/or who are Deaf, Hearing Impaired, Deafblind or have acquired Dual Sensory loss. This is a fixed term contract for up to 12 months for Maternity Cover.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
- Ensure all contractual obligations are fully met
- To develop and lead the service, add value and genuinely engage with service users
- Manage staff in respect of their day-to-day duties and their personal develop development
- To ensure the service is safe and remains of a high standard
To be successful for the role you will have:
- Experience in working with people with a sensory disability
- Experience in managing staff and a real desire to build upon the success of the team
- Experience in develop services
- A management qualification
