We are seeking a Habilitation/Rehabilitation Specialist to support our Sensory Services team in Lincolnshire to make a difference in the lives of our service users and families who are Sight Impaired/Severely Sight Impaired children/young people/adults.

  • Deliver mobility and independent living skills training to people/children/young people with Sight Impairment
  • Deliver Braille training to service users
  • Conduct assessments and create support plans
  • Manage caseload and maintain accurate case records
  • Work flexibly to meet service user needs

To be successful for this post you will:

  • Hold a Diploma in Rehabilitation Studies (Visual Impairment) with Habilitation top up OR Diploma in Habilitation
  • Have a Full UK driving license with own vehicle
  • Have experience working with adults and children/young people who are Sight/Severely Sight Impaired
  • Have a strong background in rehabilitation and mobility training (Sight Impairment)
  • Hold a RWPN/Hab VI registration (fees covered by BID)
