As part of their ambitious growth strategy, they are seeking a Business Development Director to drive the expansion of their client portfolio, secure profitable new contracts, and develop long-term relationships with both new and existing customers.
With a strong presence across the UK, the business continues to grow as a respected name within the facilities management sector. As Business Development Director, you will identify and develop new opportunities, using your proactive hunter mentality and consultative sales approach to drive results. This role is perfect for a hands-on salesperson who thrives in a collaborative team environment, excels at building long-lasting relationships, and is motivated by success and high earning potential.
Key Duties:
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities across the North & North East of England
- Manage your own sales pipeline and take ownership of revenue targets up to Β£3m p/a dependent on your experience
- Generate and follow up leads, delivering compelling bids and proposals
- Build relationships with facilities managers, agents, and end users
- Negotiate and close deals at both operational and board level
- Conduct site surveys and prepare asset schedules in partnership with our Estimating Team
- Prepare and present proposals and tender submissions
Experience Required:
- Experienced in business development and solution sales
- Eager to earn well and achieve success, ambitious to progress and learn
- Willing to travel in and cover a patch from Manchester to Leeds and the surrounding areas
