Enjoy working in this progressive Bid Coordinator role reporting into a Head of Bids that takes pride in developing their bid staff with the aim to progress internally over time. This is a role that will bring out your creative side due to the nature of bids that are worked on. The business has a strong presence throughout the UK, and they are continuing to be a growing force within their sector. This Bid Coordinator role will entail the creation of lower-level bids, in a fast-paced environment, as well managing the SharePoint bid library, whilst learning internally and externally to develop your bidding career. An exciting opportunity for someone looking for a progressive bidding role, in a small team with plenty of exposure, flexibility and future progression opportunities.
Key Duties:
- Bid & Tender Coordination: Lead the preparation, formatting, and submission of high-quality bid and tender documents, ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines
- Carrying out research on clients and prospective clients
- Managing the SharePoint bid library, gathering best practice responses to commonly faced questions
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to obtain necessary information and approvals for bid submissions
- Travelling to office at least once a week in Mansfield, and going to networking events with wider team
Experience Required:
- Bid Coordinator / Bid Executive / Bid Administrator / Junior Bid Manager experience
- Ideally experience within the Private sector but not essential
- Strong written communication skills, with an ability to craft persuasive and engaging bid responses
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Willing to travel to Mansfield at least once a week, as well as occasional travel to site visits and events
