My client operates across social housing, delivering essential services including electrical compliance, maintenance and upgrade works for housing associations and local authorities. They require a Senior Bid Manager to take ownership of the bid function, improve submission quality, and support the development of a small but growing team. Your Duties:
- Take full ownership of the bid process, managing opportunities from qualification through to submission across social housing compliance and electrical frameworks.
- Work closely with the Head of Business Development to develop bid strategy and win themes.
- Improve bid processes, governance and overall submission quality across the function.
- Mentor and support a small team (Bid Manager, Bid Writer & Bid Coordinator), raising standards and consistency.
- Lead on the production of high-quality written content and ensure submissions are aligned with client requirements.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to deliver compelling, compliant tender responses.
- Review tender documentation, identify risks and opportunities, and support bid decision-making.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in Bid Management within social housing, property services, compliance or M&E environments.
- Proven ability to manage bids end-to-end and contribute to win strategy.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and improve bid processes.
- Willing to commute to Waltham Abbey 3 days per week.
