You will be part of a developing bid function, working closely with senior stakeholders and playing a key role in improving how bids are written, structured and presented. This company operates across social housing, delivering essential services including electrical compliance, maintenance and upgrade works for housing associations and local authorities. They require a Bid Writer to enhance submission quality, support the wider bid process, and help raise standards across the team. Your Duties:
- Take responsibility for producing high‑quality written responses for bids across social housing compliance and electrical frameworks
- Work closely with the Senior Bid Manager and Head of New Business to develop win themes, storyboards and structured responses
- Contribute to the full bid lifecycle, from opportunity qualification through to submission
- Improve the consistency, clarity and overall quality of written submissions
- Mentor and support a junior Bid Writer, helping to raise standards across the team
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather and refine technical content
- Ensure all submissions are compliant, well‑structured and aligned to client requirements
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Bid Writer within social housing, property services, compliance or M&E environments
- Strong written ability with experience producing high‑quality tender responses
- Experience working on public sector frameworks (housing associations / local authorities)
- Willing to commute to Waltham Abbey 3 days per week
