The Role
We are looking for a commercially minded Senior Account Manager, Ecomm to join our high-performing team leading the launch and scaling of Tangle Teezer’s International Ecomm business. In this role, you will own the end-to-end strategy and execution for our Amazon International marketplace presence, driving revenue growth, maximizing profitability, and expanding our footprint across markets.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scaling 1P/3P accounts, a deep understanding of International Amazon business, and the leadership skills to manage a global portfolio.
In this role you’ll get to work on:
- International Expansion & Market Launches
- Market Strategy: Own the strategy for our new International market launches. You will run the numbers on local market demand, analyze competitors, plan deal events and navigate cross-border logistics.
- Global Selection Management: Identify opportunities for strategic selection. Partner with marketing teams and local agencies to optimize listings for regional markets.
- Localization: Oversee the end-to-end setup of the accounts in owned regions, ensuring customer experience is in line with regional standards.
- Strategic Growth & Profitability
- P&L: Manage the P&L for owned regions, establishing and achieving sales and margin targets.
- Channel Roadmap: Define and execute the long-term strategic roadmap for owned regions, ensuring alignment with overall corporate growth objectives and marketing/brand guidelines.
- Market Share & Positioning: Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor movements, and shifting consumer behaviour to drive top line sales, protect brand equity and strengthen market share across owned regions.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Data Analysis: Analyse complex datasets via Amazon portals, Brand Analytics, and third-party tools to generate actionable insights per market.
- Reporting: Present monthly and quarterly performance reports to leadership, providing clear visibility into international growth objectives, market-specific hurdles, and scaling opportunities.
- Advertising & Content
- Setting TROAS targets: Together with the Digital team work on improving Advertising initiatives, such as setting TROAS targets and pivot SA/DSP/marketing strategies to drive sales growth.
- Advertising Analysis: Together with the Digital team set Advertising strategies at regional level to ensure sales and brand growth.
- Listing Optimisation: Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to optimize product listings on Amazon, including keywords, images, A+, and product detail pages.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Teamwork
- Supply Chain Alignment: Work together with Operations and Logistics teams to build accurate demand forecasting models, ensuring seamless inventory flow into international warehouse hubs while minimizing storage fees and low stock risks.
- Product Development Feedback: Act as the "voice of the customer" by analysing International Amazon reviews and return data, routinely sharing these insights with the business to drive improvements.
- Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented environment within the e-commerce department by mentoring Junior Account Managers on Amazon’s evolving global ecosystem.
What we are looking for in you:
- 5+ years of experience managing Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central accounts.
- International Track Record: Proven success launching brands into at least two non-domestic Amazon marketplaces (e.g. moving a UK brand into APAC).
- Technical Expertise: Understanding of the Amazon Ads eco-system and Amazon’s supply chain programs (Dropshipping, FBA, etc.), preferred.
- Third-Party-Tools: Experience using Profetiro, H10/Keepa, preferred.
- Problem Solver: Resilient in navigating Amazon’s eco-system combined with strong analytical and commercial skills to work independently.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
