Financial Accountant- Tangle Teezer

Tangle Teezer is a global brand on a simple mission: to give everyone healthier-looking hair with less breakage since 2007. Our gentle brushes are tools for every hair type - from straight to coily - and every routine, helping you go from detangling and blow-drying to styling.

The role

As the Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for all financial reporting between Tangle Teezer and BIC, ensuring accuracy of reporting across different entities and in different currencies. There will be a large focus on intercompany transactions and developing the management of these. You will work closely with a number of functions within the business as well as the BIC finance team. You will also support with annual audit and tax work as well as other ad hoc projects.

In this role you’ll get to:

• Perform accurate monthly reporting of internal numbers.
• Oversee all intercompany transactions within Tangle Teezer and the wider BIC group.
• Ensure the accuracy of intercompany postings, with a clear management vs stat impact.
• Work on improving internal processes to drive more efficient and accurate reporting.
• Work closely with the BIC finance team, including Controlling, Group Finance & Treasury.
• Support in increasing tax visibility and further tax developments.
• Assist with group and stat audits.
• Assist with annual tax returns including patent box and R&D work, liaising with our external tax advisors.
• Support on other ad hoc projects.

What we are looking for in you:

• 2-3 years post qualified experience.
• Strong technical accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification is essential).
• System experience with Hyperion/HFM is strongly preferred.
• Solid Excel skills.
• Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP desirable.
• Aptitude to develop UK / US tax knowledge.
• Strong organisational skills, able to juggle multiple priorities and clearly communicate progress updates, often liaising with multiple stakeholders.
