The role involves working alongside the NPD Ops Manager and Innovation team to drive on-time delivery of new products to market. As EPD/NPD Operations Project Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring assigned operational inputs are provided across all live projects. In this role you’ll get to:
- Provide cross-functional support across Operations, Supply Chain, Project Management, and EPD teams.
- Update our Project Management system with key project details and progress.
- Confirm and discuss projects with the EPD team, ensuring clear delivery of product briefs to suppliers and manufacturing sites.
- Work closely with Project Management to ensure projects remain on track.
- Assist with supplier management activities, particularly in relation to EPD development and approvals.
- Brief, discuss and implement project requirements with suppliers.
- Support the coordination and delivery of EPD projects to ensure the transition from project to mass production works efficiently and on time.
- Organise and order samples, ensuring suppliers meet required deadlines.
- Raise purchase orders for required sample orders.
- Organise shipments to suppliers and other Tangle Teezer offices.
- Track samples and ensure they are passed to relevant team members.
- Ensure all costs are captured and communicated.
- Assist with day-to-day operational tasks, including order processing and fulfilment.
- Drive project visibility and keep progress clear and consistent by optimising workflows across both development and operations teams.
What we are looking for in you:
- Experience in Product development / NPD in FMCG or beauty/fashion sector.
- Project management experience (end-to-end) of managing a few projects simultaneously.
- Project management methodology & tools/software knowledge.
- Knowledge of injection manufacturing processes and materials is preferable.
- A team player with the ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with different departments and external suppliers.
- Ability to maintain a positive, can-do attitude in all scenarios, motivated to succeed and push all accounts.
- Demonstrable ability to prioritise demanding workloads and to adapt to frequent change.
- This role requires clear communication, a proactive mindset, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving and collaboration.
