The role involves ensuring accurate forecasts are created and maintained for Tangle Teezer’s Direct markets using historical trends, sell‑through data and sales plans. You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Operations, own the forecast, ensure high levels of forecast accuracy, optimise stock and highlight risks or opportunities versus the financial budget.
In this role you’ll get to:
- Create accurate rolling 18‑month demand forecasts using customers’ inventory and sell‑through data, historical trends and best‑practice planning methodology.
- Work closely with internal commercial and/or distributor partner planning teams.
- Use statistical data and modelling to generate forecasts where robust forecasts aren’t available.
- Collaborate with the Production & Purchasing Planner to ensure the agreed demand plan is achievable – production capabilities and capacity – and work with the Customer Experience team to fulfil customer needs.
- Highlight any risks or opportunities versus the financial plan in the monthly Sales & Operations Planning process.
- Input into the product lifecycle management process and review ABC classifications.
What we are looking for in you:
- Two high‑potential people keen to grow with Tangle Teezer – able to problem‑solve in novel situations and actively learn from and grow with experience.
- 2 years+ experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning or Operations.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with natural high attention to detail.
- Proficient Excel user with aptitude to develop skills further.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Proactive, can‑do attitude and desire to improve processes and outputs.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Dynamics NAV, AGR or other MRP desirable.
- Experience working with Amazon advantageous for Direct role.
