Senior FP&A Manager – Responsibilities
- Own and develop the business planning model (multi‑entity, multi‑currency).
- Lead the monthly forecasting process and support the annual budget and 3‑year plan.
- Improve forecast accuracy and provide clear visibility of risks and opportunities.
- Independently review and challenge sales forecasts (volume, mix, phasing) across Direct and Distributor channels.
- Ensure alignment between commercial plans and financial targets.
- Own monthly reporting for Tangle Teezer and BIC, covering financial performance and KPIs.
- Review and consolidate business cases and investment proposals, assessing financial impact and alignment to priorities.
- Create guidance for the business on profitability targets (new products/customers/markets and marketing ROIs).
- Build scalable FP&A processes and ensure alignment with BIC requirements and timelines.
- Support on other ad‑hoc projects.
- Collaborate closely with the Finance Director, Head of FP&A, senior leadership, and Finance Business Partners to improve financial rigour, enhance reporting, and evolve the FP&A function.
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant with 3‑5 years’ post‑qualified experience (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
- Strong financial modelling capability and structured problem‑solving skills.
- Experience in FP&A or commercial finance within FMCG, retail or consumer businesses.
- Strong communication skills, able to translate financials into clear insights.
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to build complex business scenario‑planning models.
- Strong organisational skills, able to juggle multiple priorities and clearly communicate progress updates, often liaising with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with Hyperion/HFM and PowerBI is a plus.
