We are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join our team.
You will be assisting mainly with the global Accounts Payable function, predominantly working on the US/Mexico AP side.
You will report into the Financial Controller and work closely with the AP Transaction Lead.
This position will give the right individual the opportunity to contribute to the growth of one of the world's most ingenious and loved brands!
In this role you'll get to
- Take responsibility for all US and Mexico AP postings ensure accuracy and timeliness of payments
- Process purchase ledger invoices for all US vendors and reconciling these accounts monthly.
- Assist the AP Lead with the mid-month and end of the month payment runs for US and Mexico, as well as any adhoc payments.
- Assist with the month end close of US and Mexico AP
- Assist with the weekly review of US and Mexico aged payables report
- Assist with the processing of personal expenses.
- Assist with process improvements, including suggesting & implementing your own ideas.
- Assist with statutory audit preparation.
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role.
- A good level of MS Excel and Outlook skills.
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- A team player with the ability to also work independently.
- A good, proactive communicator
- A growth mindset with the desire to learn and develop
- Microsoft Navision (desired but not essential).
