Assistant Accountant
As the Assistant Accountant, you will assist the Financial Accountant with financial reporting between Tangle Teezer and BIC, ensuring accurate reporting across entities and currencies.
The role focuses on intercompany transactions and close management of these transactions.
You will work closely with various business functions and the BIC finance team, support annual audit and tax work, and handle other ad‑hoc projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with accurate monthly reporting of internal numbers.
- Own the load of Tangle Teezer group numbers into the BIC reporting system (HFM).
- Become the HFM system expert within Tangle Teezer.
- Manage and report intercompany transactions with Tangle Teezer and the wider BIC group.
- Improve internal processes to drive more efficient and accurate reporting.
- Work closely with the BIC finance team, including Controlling, Group Finance & Treasury.
- Support annual tax requests in both UK and US.
- Assist with group and statutory audits.
- Support other ad‑hoc projects.
Qualifications
- Part‑qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) with a strong desire to complete studies.
- Solid Excel skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills.
