Position Overview
- Take ownership of the month-end close process.
- Prepare prepayments, accruals and other balance sheet reconciliations.
- Reconcile intercompany loan accounts.
- Maintain financial accuracy through regular bank reconciliations and promptly address any issues.
- Prepare the monthly supplier payment run and assist with setting up supplier payments.
- Raise customer sales invoices and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate billing.
- Manage accounts receivable collections by tactfully chasing outstanding payments.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, responding to inquiries and building strong relationships.
- Provide support with the annual statutory audit.
- Manage submission of UK VAT returns and US Sales Tax returns.
- Help optimise and improve financial processes.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities by providing necessary data and insights.
- Support the wider business with ad-hoc finance requests.
What we are looking for
- Accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- 3+ years of experience within a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical abilities with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
