BibliU is a fast-scaling education technology business transforming how students access learning materials. With 90% CAGR (net ARR) over the last 6 years, and a rapidly expanding US footprint following a strategic acquisition, we are entering the next phase of scale. Current revenues are at $100m, with 90% generated from the US.
Weβre hiring a Chief Financial Officer to partner closely with the CEO and leadership team as the business continues to professionalise, scale and build the financial foundations needed for long-term, sustainable growth. This role will play a central part in shaping strategy, strengthening commercial decision-making and supporting the organisation as it grows.
The Opportunity:
- Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team on strategy and execution
- Support growth planning, investment decisions and long-term value creation
- Build and develop a high-performing finance function across the UK and US
- Bring clarity and commercial insight to pricing, unit economics and growth decisions
Growth & Strategic Development
- Support selective acquisitions and partnerships, from financial evaluation through to integration
- Play a key role in planning for future funding options and longer-term strategic outcomes
- Ensure the business has the financial foundations needed to scale confidently
- Lead forward-looking forecasting, cash management and scenario modelling
- Maintain clear visibility on cash runway, funding needs and operational levers
- Own executive-level dashboards and reporting for the CEO, Board, and potential investors across ARR, margins, unit economics, and key SaaS and retail KPIs
Commercial & Working Capital
- Provide hands-on financial leadership across a blended SaaS and retail model
- Improve inventory management, working capital efficiency and gross margins
- Partner with commercial teams on pricing, deal economics and profitability analysis
Reporting, Systems & Governance
- Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting across UK and US entities
- Own audits, tax and statutory requirements, working with external advisors as needed
- Lead improvements to finance systems, data and post-acquisition integration
Leadership
- Build, mentor and scale a collaborative, high-performing finance team
- Embed strong financial discipline, insight and accountability across the organisation
What Weβre Looking For
- Proven CFO experience in high-growth SaaS or consumer subscription businesses
- Some experience in retail, eCommerce or inventory-heavy models strongly preferred
- Experience in scaling PE or VC backed scale ups
- Track record leading fundraises and M&A, including post-deal integration
- Experience in US markets
- Comfortable operating at pace in founder-led, scaling environments
