Overall responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager (Communications). This role entails overseeing various content and design projects while managing physical and outsourced manpower. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Physical and Outsource Manpower Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of physical and outsourced manpower. Ensure efficient utilization of resources and adherence to project timelines.
- Project Delegations: Delegate tasks and responsibilities for content and design projects. Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Quality Checker of Contents: Review and ensure the quality of contents for corporate collaterals, including newsletters, fundraising campaigns, booklets and posters etc. Maintain consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all materials.
- Quarterly Progress Reports: Compile comprehensive progress reports for internal review and client updates. Analyse project performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Monthly Payments for Outsource Manpower: Manage and process monthly payments for outsourced manpower. Maintain accurate records of expenses and invoices.
- Recruitment: Participate in the recruitment process for full-time, remote, and intern employees. Collaborate with HR to identify and onboard top talent.
- Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts and resolve issues that may arise during project execution. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in project management and content editing roles.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
