BLG Head Office – Liverpool (hybrid, with occasional travel to Bury). Some roles sit behind the scenes, quietly keeping everything on track. This one drives things forward. We have a friendly, close‑knit Company Secretarial team at Bibby Line Group, and we’re looking for a proactive, digitally confident governance professional to join us as an Assistant Company Secretary.
You may already be working in a Company Secretarial or governance role, or you may be an experienced Executive Assistant with strong Board exposure looking to transition into governance. This is a role for someone who enjoys being at the heart of governance, bringing calm organisation when priorities are moving quickly, working closely with senior stakeholders, and ensuring Board and Committee activity runs smoothly, securely and professionally.
The role
Working alongside the Company Secretary and Deputy Company Secretary, you’ll play a key role in the delivery of effective governance across the Group. You’ll combine strong Board support with hands‑on ownership of digital governance environments.
Key responsibilities include:
