Filling roles is one thing, but it takes something extra to attract great talent, build real relationships and truly partner with a business. If that’s the part of Talent Acquisition where you do your best work, you’ll want to keep reading.

We’re hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our in-house team in Manchester. This isn’t about keeping the wheels turning, it’s about owning the full recruitment lifecycle. You’ll take real ownership end-to-end, with the chance to shape, influence and improve how we do things. You won’t just be “the recruiter.”

  • Influencing how we attract talent
  • Shaping hiring decisions
  • Improving how we do things
  • Supporting wider business strategy through smarter hiring

This is a role for someone who wants to be part of the conversation, not just the process.

You’ll take roles from brief to offer and everything in between, leading full end-to-end recruitment campaigns independently, partnering with hiring managers to shape roles, expectations and outcomes. You will be writing adverts that attract the right people while proactively sourcing and headhunting, engaging passive talent and building long-term pipelines. Managing candidate experience so people remember it for the right reasons ensuring all candidates receive feedback. Using ATS and recruitment tools to keep everything moving, compliant and visible. Bringing data and insight into conversations, not just opinions.

What you’ll bring:

  • You’ve done this before and you know what good looks like.
  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end internal recruitment, confidently owning full lifecycles from brief to offer.
  • Strong candidate and stakeholder management skills, you build trusted relationships, not just processes.
  • Advanced sourcing and headhunting capability, with confident use of LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search.
  • Hands-on experience with ATS and e-recruitment systems to manage pipelines, reporting and compliance.
  • A genuine commitment to inclusive, diverse and equitable hiring practices, something you actively champion.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, staying calm, focused and prioritised when it matters.
  • An understanding of Workforce Planning, with the ability to align hiring activity to business needs.
  • Exposure to (or interest in) Talent Succession planning, recognising the importance of building pipelines for the future, not just filling today’s roles.

The good stuff:

  • Salary of £38,000 - £40,000 + performance bonus (up to 20% potential)
  • Private healthcare for you and your family
  • Company pension scheme
  • Flexible benefits (gym membership, tech, health assessments and more)
  • Access to an online wellbeing centre
  • Discounts with a wide range of retailers
  • 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service, with buy/sell options
  • Electric Vehicle / Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle scheme
