Overview
In this role you help underpin client cash flow and risk management within a collaborative, hybrid-enabled team. You will support the end-to-end discounting process, from due diligence to ongoing debt verification, while building strong client relationships. You contribute to efficient, compliant operations and explore automation to improve the MER and debt verification workflow. This is a growth-focused position in a long-standing, people-centered financial services business with clear progression paths.

Responsibilities
- Complete Month End Reconciliation for a portfolio of clients, including due diligence and item verification
- Perform debt verification by confirming invoices with debtors and clarifying any payment issues
- Maintain proactive conversations with clients and debtors and schedule follow-ups to complete verification
- Collaborate with Onboarding, Relationship and Risk teams to ensure security and profitability through thorough debt verification
- Establish and sustain professional client relationships and drive efficiencies, including opportunities for automation of key processes
- Contribute to a positive, client-focused environment and uphold service excellence
Key requirements
- Experience in an accounting or credit control role within a financial or factoring environment
- Proven experience in client and internal stakeholder interaction with strong customer service
- Familiarity with common software packages such as MS Office
- Ability to prioritise a busy workload with excellent attention to detail
- Experience working in an office environment within a large team
