Bibby Financial Services have an exciting opportunity available for a dynamic Communications & Engagement Manager to join our team, based in Banbury. You will join us on a full time, 12 month fixed term basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £40,000 - £42,000 per annum.

As our Communications & Engagement Manager, you will join our Corporate Communications team, to help reinforce our exciting BFS 5.0 strategy, to support our BLG-wide Compass initiative, and to drive engagement with our 'Speak Up, Speak Out and Listen' culture, and values. You will not only develop and execute strategic internal and external communication plans, but also be a key driver in shaping and nurturing our culture.
Your key duties as our Communications & Engagement Manager will include:
- Comms planning: Working with the Head of Communications, and Internal Comms Lead, develop and implement communication strategies that align with BFS’s strategic goals and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Culture and employee engagement: Deliver internal communications that enhance our Speak Up, Speak Out and Listen culture, drive employee engagement, and promote our family values. Organise initiatives aligned with our Compass initiative that cultivate a collaborative and inclusive environment (Customer First Week/community initiatives, Donate-A-Day, etc).
- Channel and community management: Own, audit and manage BFS channels, including the intranet, and support communications through employee engagement programs such as Global Live Events, Town Halls, and other initiatives that build and reinforce our BFS 5.0 strategy, culture and values across a variety of channels (intranet, Viva Engage and other engagement platforms).
- Content creation: Work with internal and external teams to support the creation of compelling content across various platforms (intranet, Viva Engage, presentations, blogs, press releases, social media, etc.) that reflect the BFS’s purpose and values.
- Social media management: Actively manage BFS’s corporate social media presence for all audiences, including performance reporting, acting as a social media champion to guide and support safe and effective use of social media across the business, and to promote BFS’s brand.
- Brand and culture: Ensure that all external and internal messaging, content and design consistently reflects and promotes BFS’s brand, our Compass initiative, culture and values.
What we are looking for in our ideal Communications & Engagement Manager:
- Strong experience in internal or external communications, driving culture and values within an international business environment.
- Experience in developing, editing and publishing content across internal and external communications channels.
- A good understanding of intranet Content Management Systems and internal/external social media networks.
- Knowledge and understanding of contemporary internal communications methodology including channels, tools, measurement, with the ability to innovate and implement new ideas.
- Sound understanding of communications strategy.
- Strong interpersonal communication and stakeholder management skills, ensuring that colleagues are informed and engaged.
