You’ll get hands‑on with live business data, learn in‑demand technical skills and help shape real decisions across the organisation. The role involves working on our modern Databricks data platform, helping answer the questions that matter most to the business, such as:

  • What does our customer portfolio look like by sector, size or geography?
  • How has the business changed over the last five years?
  • Where are the biggest opportunities for growth?
  • How can reporting be faster, smarter and more useful?

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting analysts and stakeholders by turning raw data into useful insight.
  • Working with data sets to spot trends, patterns and opportunities.
  • Using basic SQL to query and extract information.
  • Using basic Python to analyse data and automate tasks.
  • Learning Power BI to build dashboards and visual reports.
  • Turning one‑off requests into reusable self‑serve reporting tools.
  • Presenting findings clearly to non‑technical colleagues.
  • Working with stakeholders across the business to understand challenges.
  • Helping teams make better decisions through actionable insight.

What you’ll bring:

  • Highly numerate.
  • Studying towards (or recently completed) a numerate degree such as Maths, Science, Economics or similar.
  • Interested in data, analytics or technology.
  • Comfortable learning basic programming skills.
  • Curious, proactive and eager to learn.
  • Able to communicate clearly with different people.
  • Excited by the chance to make a real contribution.
