The role involves working on our modern Databricks data platform, helping answer the questions that matter most to the business, such as:
- What does our customer portfolio look like by sector, size or geography?
- How has the business changed over the last five years?
- Where are the biggest opportunities for growth?
- How can reporting be faster, smarter and more useful?
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting analysts and stakeholders by turning raw data into useful insight.
- Working with data sets to spot trends, patterns and opportunities.
- Using basic SQL to query and extract information.
- Using basic Python to analyse data and automate tasks.
- Learning Power BI to build dashboards and visual reports.
- Turning one‑off requests into reusable self‑serve reporting tools.
- Presenting findings clearly to non‑technical colleagues.
- Working with stakeholders across the business to understand challenges.
- Helping teams make better decisions through actionable insight.
What you’ll bring:
- Highly numerate.
- Studying towards (or recently completed) a numerate degree such as Maths, Science, Economics or similar.
