The Trading Assistant is a key part of the WWT Welney Team delivering an amazing customer service experience for our visitors. Your role will be diverse, spread across our retail and catering operations.
We will provide training and coaching for all aspects of the role and will look for attitude over experience. This is a great opportunity to develop your hospitality skills and make a difference for wetland conservation.
This is a seven-day-a-week operation. We work on a rota which will include regular weekend work; additional hours may be available to meet the business need and cover annual leave. This is a part-time role working 25 hours per week March - October, then 33 hours per week November - February.
About You
- Ability to work as part of a busy team, and independently if required.
- Good personal hygiene is mandatory.
- Independent transport is crucial as the site is away from public transport.
