Bianco International Metals, based in England with over 60 years group heritage, are a leading UK steel plates, sections, hollow sections and seamless/ welded tubular steel stockholder and processing business servicing the UK and Global Export market. As part of the family owned Bianco Group of companies we have stockholding and processing companies in the UK, Italy, Germany, Spain, France, The Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, US and Canada.
As an ambitious company and due to the expanding project demands of our clients and partners alike, we are now looking to recruit a suitably experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive growth of multi product sales in an Export/ EPC environment whilst developing and leading an experienced team to success. On this occasion we are only looking for exceptional talent with technical/ steel sales experience in a project environment, ideally within the EPC market and/or high yield, niche sales arena; selling to and targeting Oil & Gas, Offshore Engineering, Power-Gen, Defence and Renewable Energy industries. We would be particularly interested to hear from candidates whom can demonstrate experience and success across Africa and European EPC firms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed agreed sales targets as an individual and as a part of a team.
- Recruitment, training and driving success within your own team of sales executives.
- Business development within a defined sales territory/ industry application.
- Understand our product range and services to promote them in the best possible way.
- Successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts.
- Consider and report new business ventures, ideas and opportunities suited to our business.
- Contribute to our sales and marketing strategy within a defined sales territory.
- Manage complex negotiations with mid/ senior-level executives.
- Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers.
- Integrate as part of a team success, for a common goal.
- Support our local, national and international sales ventures on project bids.
- Diversify sales with a technical approach to applications.
- Recognise and introduce opportunities for value-added sales.
- Project management and administration of sales to achieve a successful outcome.
- Meet/ greet customers and attend trade fairs as a part of the business promotion, globally.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-7 years' quota carrying sales experience.
- Minimum 5 Years Steel Sales experience (this is mandatory).
- Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems.
- Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota, in a steel sales environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good understanding of sales process lifeline.
- Workable knowledge of steel grades, qualities and applications.
- Technical mindset to value product applications to offer products, services and alternatives.
- A second language would represent a significant advantage, but is not essential.
This role is home/ overseas office-based from any one of our modern, fresh and comfortable offices in the UK or globally and welcome enquiries from persons on a global basis. Our UK offices are in the north east of Scotland, central belt Scotland, North Yorkshire and the Midlands of England, along with many offices across Europe and the USA & Canada.
