We require a Technical Production & Content Manager to join our team, focusing on supporting and delivering outstanding live, virtual, and hybrid events through expert technical production and creative content development and management. This role ensures all event solutions are innovative, on-brand, and meet client objectives while maintaining profitability and budget control.
You will support and collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to produce engaging, impactful, and objective-led experiences that inspire audiences. You will liaise and work with other teams within the events department and overall company, including delivery, guest management services, finance, and creative.
Event Production & Technical Delivery- Support and lead with technical planning and execution for events, including AV, staging, environment design, and digital platforms.
- Manage technical aspects of live, virtual, and hybrid events, ensuring seamless integration of technology and content.
- On-site management of various aspects of technical and content delivery, including briefing and managing suppliers and production crews alongside end client liaison.
- Support and lead with the development of creative concepts and content strategies aligned with client's objectives and brand guidelines.
- Produce and manage event content such as video, presentations, graphics, digital and printed assets, liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Support creative pitch responses with innovative ideas, well-researched and executed proposals.
- Full project lifecycle management from contracting to reconciliation, including project timelines, budget management, and profitability tracking.
- Health and Safety process management and execution on-site.
- Document production schedules, client briefs, and technical specifications.
- Manage third-party suppliers and maintain strong relationships to ensure quality and cost efficiency, including new supplier assessment, selection, and management.
- Work closely with event delivery teams to integrate technical and creative elements into cohesive event experiences.
- Provide guidance and support on AV, technical, and content solutions for other projects as needed.
- Participate in client meetings, pitch and live delivery presentations, and debriefs.
- Fully update PD/PM on all project developments where necessary.
- Proactively prepare for all meetings, creating agendas, contact reports, and sharing of actions.
- Attend regular account/project progress meetings and debriefs. Organise and chair such meetings when appropriate.
- Maximise profitability at all times on elements of projects you’re working on.
- 6+ years in event production and content creation within an events agency or similar environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of AV systems, staging, and environments.
- Some knowledge of live digital event platforms and delivery process.
- Proven experience in creative ideation and content development for live and virtual events.
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Advanced capability in Microsoft Office Suite, with particular attention to PowerPoint.
- Budget management and supplier negotiation experience.
- Experience managing global events, international suppliers, and large-scale productions.
- Familiarity with end-to-end objective-led event design.
- Familiarity with ROI methodology and event performance measurement.
- Experience of audience-facing PowerPoint amendments and tidy.
- Familiarity with Adobe suite applications.
