What You'll Be Doing
- Work closely with the Pricing & Underwriting Leadership team to deliver actionable insights to key decision-makers.
- Identify critical metrics and KPIs that shape business strategy.
- Proactively analyse data to answer key stakeholder questions and investigate areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity.
- Define and implement data acquisition and integration logic, selecting appropriate methods and tools.
- Develop and maintain data sources, building scripts that make evaluation processes more flexible and scalable.
- Assist business areas with finding, building, and understanding data sources.
- Provide technical input and effective data analysis to support project deliverables.
- Oversee data quality, reviewing outputs against standards and identifying process improvements.
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders, understanding departmental needs and influencing data-backed change.
- Produce clear documentation and present findings using visual, verbal and written skills to make complex concepts accessible.
- Evaluate internal systems for efficiency and accuracy, developing protocols for data handling and processing.
What We're Looking For
- Technical expertise: Data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
- Knowledge and experience: Data-focused background with analyst role experience; experience working in Financial Services environment; similar role experience in B2B environment.
- Skills and personal qualities: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; excellent attention to detail and analytical skills; adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings; detail-focused with clear passion for building data journeys that enhance analytics experience.
