Responsibilities
- Work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team providing ward‑based care, assessment of acute admissions, peri‑operative patient management, and the on‑call rota.
- Attend theatre, clinics, teaching sessions, clinical governance meetings and quality improvement activity to gain exposure to a broad range of cranial and spinal neurosurgical conditions.
- Undertake a full rota including on‑call duties.
Qualifications
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification and full GMC registration.
- Previous NHS experience at foundation level or above and a strong interest in pursuing a career in neurosurgery or a related specialty.
- Experience working within an NHS hospital or equivalent healthcare system.
- Professional experience in Neurosurgery or a related surgical specialty such as Trauma & Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, or Intensive Care.
