We’re looking for a Corporate Tax manager or senior manager to join our growing and ambitious tax function.
This is a varied role with a mix of tax advisory and managing clients’ corporation tax affairs. It’s also an opportunity to work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, build on your advisory skills, raise your profile, and help shape the future of our tax team.
Based in the Leeds, York or Cleckheaton office, this role offers progression, autonomy, and the chance to work across a wide range of projects with people who will support and challenge you to develop.

Key Responsibilities:
Managing a portfolio of corporate clients. Mainly owner-managed and PE backed businesses
Supporting the tax affairs of business owners, alongside their corporate tax responsibilities.
Getting involved in year-end meetings, pre-year-end planning and wider structuring conversations
Advising on matters such as R&D tax credits, capital allowances, succession planning, and restructuring
Supporting senior colleagues on complex advisory assignments
Coaching and developing junior members of the team, from trainees through to executives
Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
Referring clients to internal experts in areas such as corporate finance or financial planning
Playing a key role in practice development activities, for example – writing thought leadership pieces, delivering presentations and attending networking events
Making sure you are top of your game by staying ahead of technical developments through regular CPD
Person Specification:
At least 3 years\’ experience in corporate tax
Strong communication skills, with clients and colleagues alike
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
A genuine interest in mentoring others and contributing to team success
Experience with owner-managed businesses or mid-market clients.
Knowledge of other tax areas (e.g. VAT, personal tax)
Experience in a mid-tier or regional firm
