BHP Law is a well-established, regional law firm combining high quality commercial and private client services with offices in Darlington, Durham, Newcastle and Tynemouth. We are looking to add a Legal Secretary to work at our Darlington office. This is a permanent position.
THE ROLE INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO:
- General administration duties
- Scanning documents
- Maintenance of files
- Liaising with clients and other professionals
- Scheduling office meetings both in person and via Teams
- Electronic diary management
- Audio typing
- Preparing court bundles and legal documents
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Hardworking, diligent and self-motivated
- Adaptable and flexible to meet the needs of the business
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and communicate effectively
- Good organisational skills
- Reliable, friendly and approachable

- Ability to work as part of a small team and also complete tasks independently
