Start your career where you can grow, thrive, and make a real impact. We’re looking for an ambitious, driven graduate to join our IT team as a Trainee Project Manager. As a project management trainee, you’ll work alongside experienced project managers and client service teams to support the planning, coordination, and execution of a variety of internal and client-facing projects. From systems implementation to compliance initiatives, you’ll gain hands-on experience in how projects are run in a professional services environment while working toward a recognised qualification (ie; Association for Project Management, Project Management Qualification (APM PMQ)). There’s lots to get involved in, but here are some examples of what you’ll do: Assist in planning and scheduling project timelines, deliverables, and resources Monitor project progress and update project documentation Support in preparing status reports, risk assessments, and meeting notes Liaise with internal departments to ensure effective communication and task delegation Contribute to process improvement initiatives Maintain documentation in line with compliance and audit requirements Attend training sessions and work towards completing the apprenticeship framework Work within the Project Management Office ensuring visibility of all projects to the Management Board This role can be based in either our Sheffield or Leeds office. However, as BHP is a regional Firm, you’ll need to be willing to work in our other offices (York, Cleckheaton and Chesterfield) on a regular basis.
