We are looking for a part-qualified Assistant Auditor to act on audit assignments, ensuring that work under your control is carried out accurately, in accordance with the firm’s standards and procedures, and to the client’s satisfaction, whilst ensuring exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the audit of company/group accounts across a variety of sectors.
- Completion of draft statutory accounts from trial balance.
- Completion of draft corporation tax computations.
- Communication with clients.
Person Specification
- ACA/ACCA part-qualified.
- 2-3 years’ experience in Practice.
- Experience of auditing various sections of a client file for manager or partner review under FRS: 102.
- Experience in preparing tax computations, provisions, including deferred tax.
- Good IT skills, including experience of using different accounting packages/systems (e.g., CCH Accounts Production, Caseware, Alphatax, Xero and Xero Workpapers) and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Confident communicator, able to liaise with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Accurate, methodical, and organised; able to manage own workload.
- Smart and personable; able to work as part of a team.
- Experience of UK auditing standards.
