We’re looking for a newly qualified Audit Senior to join our team in Cleckheaton.

You’ll take the lead on audit assignments on-site, act as a key point of contact for client finance teams, and deliver high-quality outputs to senior colleagues.
The Role- Being the on-site project lead for a portfolio of audits.
- Completing work on higher risk areas of the audit file as well as being responsible for coaching and project managing the on-site team.
- Being the primary on-site liaison for the key client contacts.
- Engaging with clients on project management and ensuring expectations and deliverables are effectively managed.
- Responsible for quality control of the team’s work by providing effective support and challenge as well as reviewing work.
- Supporting the Audit Manager in engagement economics, including preparation of budgets and tracking against actuals.
- Managing your own time and that of others to meet deadlines and deliver an effective service to clients.
- Opportunity to be involved in strategic projects at office and firm-wide level.
- Contributing to business development activities.
- Flexibility to work with our Leeds team on their clients, as needed.
- ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent.
- Strong audit experience in Practice.
- Good experience with UK auditing standards.
- The ability to travel to clients as and when needed.
- Confident communicator, able to liaise with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Leadership & people skills to help develop junior members of the team.
- Strong project management skills.
- Pro-active, with the ability to work on your own initiative to improve internal processes and technical knowledge.
- Excellent IT skills, including experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office packages.
- The salary range for this role is in the region of £41,700 to £44,000 p/a, depending on experience.
- Discretionary, performance-related annual bonus.
- 27 days annual leave.
