The Opportunity
As an Undergraduate Placement student, you’ll spend a year gaining real-world experience in an established and reputable accountancy firm, developing the skills and confidence to help launch your future career. After an immersive induction with our trainee and placement cohort, you’ll work on real client assignments – not just shadowing. You’ll apply growing technical knowledge on real assignments, with lots of support. Our clients span manufacturing, retail, tech, charities, healthcare and more, giving you breadth and early responsibility. We recruit across multiple departments (availability varies by location), including Audit, Translink Corporate Finance, Corporate Tax and Personal Tax. Whether you’re exploring a career in accountancy, finance or business advisory, this is your chance to gain practical insight before you graduate – with opportunities to return as a Graduate Trainee if you perform well during your placement.

What We’re Looking For
You’ll be a second-year student currently studying for a degree with a compulsory or optional placement year. Our minimum entry criteria is:
- Five GCSEs including English and Maths at grade C/4 or above
- 104 UCAS points from three A Levels at grade C or above (or equivalent)
- Being on track to obtain an honours degree with a minimum 2:2

Application & selection process
Our recruitment process can vary depending on the role, location, department, how far we are through the recruitment process and number of applications received, but it will typically include several of the following stages:
