As part of our expansion into trailer manufacturing, we are looking to recruit skilled Fabricators and Fitters to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved from the ground up, helping establish and develop a new manufacturing operation focused on quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Main duties will include but not limited to:
- Fabricators: Fabrication of trailer chassis, frames, and components; MIG welding of steel to a high standard; Reading and working from engineering drawings; Cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components; Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
- Fitters: Assembly and fitting of trailer components (axles, brakes, suspension, electrics, bodywork); Installation of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems where required; Fault finding and rectification during build stages; Final build checks and quality inspections.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a fabricator and/or fitter (ideally in trailers, HGVs, plant, or similar industries).
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- A proactive, team-focused attitude.
- Commitment to health & safety.
Desirable (but not essential):
- Welding qualifications (MIG/TIG).
- Experience with trailer or vehicle builds.
- Forklift or overhead crane certification.

Job Location: Carnwath, South Lanarkshire
Hours: 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday, 7.30am-2.00pm Friday.
