We currently have a vacancy for a nightshift CNC Loader who is familiar with Structural Steel Sections. Reporting to the Production Manager, the role is to keep machines fully stocked up in order to keep machine utilisation high throughout the factory, primarily focusing on fittings machines with the use of overhead cranes.

Duties of the role include:

  • Operation of all equipment for the role in a safe manner, overhead cranes will be in main use.
  • Complete relevant documentation and record work using in-house designed scanning and clocking systems.
  • Ensure delivery lines are passed onto the Material Controller in a timely manner when required.
  • Ensure all materials are placed into their correct locations after machine use.
  • Liaise with Production manager/programmers who will provide priorities for Material required at each CNC Machine.
  • Unload material from vehicles in a timely manner and place in correct location when required.
  • Continuous housekeeping ensuring a clean and safe working environment at all times following BHC written work instructions.
  • Adhere to BHC Health and Safety procedures at all times.
