As we continue to expand, we are seeking an AI Integration Engineer to help drive the adoption of secure, practical AI solutions across the business. This is a hands-on engineering role with a broad remit: implementing large language model (LLM) and machine learning (ML) solutions, identifying opportunities to enhance or replace existing systems, and ensuring all development aligns with security and compliance requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and deliver AI solutions in Azure, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), data classification, forecasting, and anomaly detection.
- Evaluate existing business systems and identify opportunities where AI can improve efficiency, accuracy, or user experience.
- Integrate AI with enterprise platforms such as Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID), SQL databases, and other line-of-business applications.
- Develop straightforward, user-friendly applications (web and Teams) to make AI tools accessible across devices.
- Establish monitoring, logging and audit processes to maintain compliance with GDPR, ISO and other standards.
- Stay informed on emerging AI technologies and advise on their potential adoption within the company.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years’ experience in AI/ML or software engineering, with exposure to deploying LLMs or ML models in production.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or C#, with experience of Azure services (App Service, AI Search, Functions, Storage, Key Vault).
- Familiarity with vector databases and AI frameworks (Haystack, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel) is an advantage.
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 integration via Graph API and related technologies.
- Experience taking projects from prototype to production is desirable.
- Analytical, pragmatic, and capable of balancing experimentation with robust delivery.
