BHC is one of the UK’s leading Structural Steel Fabrication and Construction companies supplying and erecting fabricated steel nationwide within the UK and Ireland.
We currently have a vacancy for a Trade Counter Sales Assistant at our Builders Merchant’s based in Carnwath.
Duties will include-:
- Serving customers and building strong relationships.
- Liaising with Suppliers
- Handling external sales enquiries at the counter, email or telephone.
- Inbound and outbound calls to clients and customers
- Providing customers with quotation advice
- Acquiring new business through generating leads and tele sales
- Picking customer orders
- Effectively working in a team and independently when required.
- Stock Control Merchandising in showroom
The successful candidate will have experience in a trade counter role within a builder’s merchant or similar, and a good product knowledge within the building industry.
Must have excellent computer and customer service skills, with a polite and friendly manner.
