We’re looking for an experienced HSQE Manager to lead and shape Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards across our growing business. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll influence culture, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance across a wide range of projects and sectors.

The role
Working closely with departmental managers, you will take ownership of our HSQE function- ensuring high standards are not only met, but continuously improved. You’ll play a key role in embedding a proactive safety culture across the organisation.
Key responsibilities:
- Champion Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards across the business
- Drive a proactive safety culture through engagement at all levels
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and annual HSQE planning
- Manage and maintain ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards
- Conduct audits, inspections and site visits
- Oversee risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Maintain third‑party accreditations (Achilles, CIRAS, RISQS, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with UK legislation and the Building Safety Act 2022
- Deliver training and support to managers and teams
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a HSQE role (construction/manufacturing preferred)
- Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation
- Experience managing audits, inspections and accreditations
- Confident communicator with strong leadership skills
- Proactive, solutions‑focused and able to work under pressure
- Full UK driving licence and valid CSCS card
- Degree in a relevant discipline
- IOSH membership
