Duties
- Handle materials with care, including loading, unloading, and moving stock throughout the warehouse
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock records, and manage order processing
- Prepare orders by picking and packing items accurately for shipment, ensuring quality control standards are met
- Manage shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation
- Stock shelves systematically, ensuring products are stored correctly and accessible for picking
- Conduct regular quality checks on stock items, identifying damages or discrepancies for prompt resolution
Qualifications
- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in materials handling, picking & packing, and stock management
- Mechanical knowledge beneficial for understanding equipment maintenance
- Experience using warehouse management systems or similar inventory software
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily tasks
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for quality control and accurate record keeping
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, load, unload, and perform manual tasks throughout shifts
Pay: £27,500.00-£28,500.00 per year
