Permanent, Part time (21 hours per week) and Term Time Only (TTO). Required to start on 1 September 2026 (with an offer of up to 3 days handover in June).

We are seeking to appoint a highly literate, calm and friendly administrator, with IT skills and a positive ‘can do’ attitude. This role was trialled for one year on a fixed‑term basis and we now want to make it permanent, following a successful first year.

You will be able to manage information and data swiftly and accurately, have excellent written English and confidence in using Microsoft Office software and communication tools. You will have excellent organisational skills and will be able to work using your own initiative, prioritising your tasks effectively to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines.

Your main role will be to support the Director of Governance/Clerk to the Governors, but you will also be able to assist the Principal’s EA, the Senior Leadership Team and the wider Reception Team. The role is varied and interesting and will contribute to the smooth running of the Governance administration within the college.

You will work with various college teams using a wide range of software packages. You will receive full training and support on these as required but must be experienced in the use of Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook and be ready to learn other, similar communications software and platforms.

You will also be given the opportunity to become a college First Aider and will be First Aid At Work trained and Mental Health First Aid trained, should you choose to do so.

Working pattern: Required to work on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays (7 hours per day, exact timings to be agreed) Term Time Only, 40 weeks per year: term time plus 6 days to be worked during the summer holidays. Some of those days will fall during A-Level results week, mid-August, onwards.

Pro‑rata Salary: £14,125 per annum (based on spine point 11 of grade 4 in the Support Staff pay spine for which full-time salary is £28,634 per annum). Salary increases annually up to £15,452 over 4 years: based on a full-time salary £31,324 per annum. 5.2 weeks holiday pay included in pro‑rata salary.
