As the first point of contact for our community, our reception team plays a vital role in shaping the patient experience. We are now looking for a warm, enthusiastic and motivated Receptionist / Patient Services Advisor to join our team.

Qualifications

  • Good standard of general education (e.g., GCSEs or equivalent).
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Basic IT skills and confidence using computers.
  • Training or certificates in reception, call handling, or healthcare administration.
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Customer Service or Business Administration.

Experience

  • Experience in a customer-facing or administrative role e.g., reception, call handling, hospitality, retail, care.
  • Experience managing phone enquiries and dealing with the public.
  • Ability to use computer systems and learn new software.
  • Experience working in a GP practice or healthcare setting.
  • Experience using clinical systems such as EMIS SystmOne.
  • Experience handling confidential information.
