Founded in 1988, B&H Worldwide is a market-leading, award-winning logistics provider dedicated exclusively to the aerospace and aviation sector.
From strategically located hubs and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) centres operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, we deliver time-critical supply chain solutions to the world’s leading airlines, OEMs, MROs, spare-part stockists and repair vendors.
Our services span AOG response, warehousing and inventory management, field-service logistics, on-board courier, engine transport and storage, trade compliance, airside transport, control-tower (LLP) management and worldwide air charter — underpinned by our proprietary track-and-trace technology and accreditations, including IATA, AEO, LRQA and Cyber Essentials.
B&H is now entering an ambitious phase of growth and transformation — scaling the platform through both organic expansion and acquisition, and investing to become the partner aerospace cannot imagine flying without.
The Project Management Office is central to that agenda: it is how we deliver change consistently, integrate the businesses we acquire, and turn our value-creation plan into results, on time and to the exacting standards our industry demands.
Our Mission
To support our customers with consistent, dependable, competitive and innovative logistics solutions which powers their business.
Our Vision
To be the most respected, valued, passionate and entrusted leader in global aerospace logistics.
The Head of PMO establishes and leads B&H Worldwide’s Project Management Office, providing the governance, standards, tooling and reporting that ensure our portfolio of projects and programmes is delivered on time, on budget and aligned to the value-creation plan.
This role is the single source of truth for portfolio status, resourcing and benefits realisation — and the engine that turns strategy into disciplined execution.
Uniquely for B&H at this stage, the role carries four priorities beyond a conventional PMO: leading the integration of acquired businesses as we build the platform; owning the performance-management and OKR framework, cadence and tooling; driving the technology and systems rollouts that underpin service and efficiency; and coordinating facility openings and the move to a consolidated regional operating model.
It is both a hands-on delivery role and a leadership one, combining rigorous project controls with the commercial awareness needed in a fast-paced, safety- and compliance-critical aerospace environment.
Location
Primary based B&H Worldwide office London, with global travel
Working Pattern
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Key Rol e Accountabilities
- Own the consolidated view of the change portfolio — status, milestones, risks, dependencies, budgets and resource demand — and align every initiative to the value-creation plan and its targets.
- Define, embed and continuously improve the project delivery methodology, standards, templates and stage-gate governance used across the global business.
- Establish and chair project and portfolio review boards, with clear decision-making, escalation paths and accountability.
- Track benefits realisation against each approved business case, and challenge initiatives that are not delivering.
- M&A Integration
- Build and own a repeatable acquisition-integration playbook covering people, systems, processes, customers and compliance — designed to preserve the value of acquired brands while capturing synergies.
- Lead integration delivery for newly acquired businesses, coordinating functional workstreams and reporting integration status and value capture to the executive and the Board.
Maintain a clear view of which integration decisions are deferred versus live, so standalone businesses stay well-managed rather than simply left separate.
- Performance Management, OKRs & Tooling
- Own the OKR / performance-management framework — its structure, quality (measurable outcomes rather than task lists), review cadence and status discipline (on track / not on track / stuck).
- Lead the selection, implementation and adoption of project-portfolio and OKR tooling, replacing manual, spreadsheet-based tracking with a fit-for-purpose, easy-to-adopt solution.
- Act as custodian of a single, trusted reporting layer that executives and station leaders actually use.
- Lead or oversee delivery of technology and systems rollouts — track-and-trace and customer‑visibility tools, quoting and pricing automation, quality and compliance systems, and warehouse technology.
- Ensure rollouts are adopted, not just deployed — with training, change management and clear measures of usage and benefit.
- Network, Facilities & Operational Excellence
- Coordinate facility openings, relocations and consolidations, and support the transition to a consolidated US / EMEA / APAC regional operating model.
- Partner with operations on service‑improvement and continuous‑improvement (Lean / Six Sigma) programmes that raise reliability and the customer experience.
- Reporting, Controls & Risk
- Produce accurate, timely portfolio dashboards for the executive team, the Board and investors.
- Implement robust project controls across scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, issue and change management, and maintain challenged risk and issue registers with owned mitigations.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership
- Act as a trusted partner across Operations, IT, Commercial, Compliance and Finance, and represent B&H professionally on customer‑implementation projects.
- Recruit, lead, coach and develop the PMO team and project managers, building project‑delivery capability across the business.
- Champion continuous improvement, capturing lessons learned, and ensure all delivery reflects B&H’s safety, quality, security and regulatory‑compliance obligations.
- Your Experience
- Proven experience establishing and/or running a PMO or leading a portfolio of projects and programmes in a fast‑paced, operational business.
- Strong command of project‑management methodologies (PRINCE2, PMI/PMP, APM or Agile) and project controls.
- Track record delivering complex projects on time and on budget, and driving adoption of new tools and ways of working.
- Excellent stakeholder‑management, communication and influencing skills at all levels, including executives and investors.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in project/portfolio and OKR tooling (e. g. MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, monday. com, Planview or similar).
- Sound commercial and financial acumen — budgets, business cases and benefits tracking.
- Experience delivering M&A integration in an acquisitive or private‑equity‑backed, high‑growth environment.
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, aviation or aerospace.
- Understanding of a regulated, compliance‑driven environment (customs / trade compliance, AEO, IATA, AS9120, quality standards).
- Experience delivering technology / systems implementations and process‑improvement initiatives across multiple international sites and cultures.
- Recognised project‑management certification (PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, APM PMQ or equivalent); portfolio / programme (MSP, Mo P) certification desirable.

- A pivotal role in a growing, global aerospace logistics leader at a genuine inflection point; the opportunity to build and shape the PMO function from the ground up; ownership of the delivery engine behind our value‑creation plan and acquisition strategy; exposure to high‑profile customers, investors and international operations; and a culture built on our values.
