The role:
This is a great opportunity to fit work around your lifestyle. Fairfield Halls is an iconic arts, events and conference venue, which hosts a year-round programme of events including concerts, cultural performances, musicals and plays, conferences and exhibitions, business events, retail catering and banquets.
We are currently expanding our team of Visitor Experience Hosts based at Fairfield Halls to be an integral part of our team. If you enjoy proving great customer service and working in a fast-paced environment this is the role for you.
This is multi skilled role and you will deal with a variety of tasks including checking tickets, serving drinks and food in our bar and restaurant areas, security including checking visitors’ bags, cleaning and offering a first-class customer service experience.
You will:
- Provide a high level of customer service, striving for service excellence at all times.
- Sell promotional merchandise.
- Proactive in customer care.
- Provide an effective ticket checking and delegate badge checking service.
- Show/direct patrons to their respective seating areas.
- Collect, control and reconcile income in accordance with BH Live policies and procedures.
- Work in bar areas serving drinks and taking orders.
- Serve food in the bars and restaurants areas.
You will need:
- Previous experience of working with customers.
- To be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- To work well as part of a team.
- To be calm and have great communication skills.
- You will need to be aged 18 + to comply with licencing laws.
- To be able to work weekends, bank holidays and evenings.
You must be over 18 years old to comply with licensing laws to work in our bar areas.
