BH Live is recruiting for Casual NPLQ qualified Lifeguards to join our team at BH Live Active, Bitterne in Southampton. Bitterne Leisure Centre is a multi-complex facility, offering activities for visitors of all ages and abilities to help improve health and wellbeing. Swimming lessons and sessions take place regularly across a 25m main pool (complete with a water slide) and a 10m learner pool.
You will:
- Work poolside and be the main point of contact for our customers.
- Ensure our customers are kept safe and comply with the centre rules.
- Erect, dismantle and move equipment.
- Clean the centre and equipment.
- Be vigilant and supervise people who are using the pool and centre facilities.
To be successful you will need:
- Your NPLQ qualification
- Satisfactory DBS Clearance
- Be a confident swimmer
- To keep calm under pressure and have good initiative
- The ability to concentrate whilst working poolside
- Great customer service skills
- To be available to work hours aligned to the centres opening hours, including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
- Be willing to work at other local sites.
