An exciting opportunity to join our team as a Snowsports Lead, at the redeveloped Alpine Centre, based at the Southampton Outdoor Sports Centre.

If you have a Ski or Snowboard Instructor qualification and experience in an operational, leisure or Snowsports environment, we would love to hear from you.

You will:

  • Lead the safe, effective and customer-focused day-to-day operation of Alpine Snowsports whilst on shift, ensuring high operational standards, operational readiness, compliance and customer experience across all Alpine facilities and activities.
  • Provide front-line operational leadership across Alpine operations, coordinating instructors, staffing, lessons, bookings and activity delivery whilst maintaining high standards of presentation, professionalism and safety.
  • Be responsible for operational decision making, emergency response, operational readiness, customer escalations and operational standards across slopes, lessons, recreational activities, equipment areas and wider Alpine operational spaces.

To be successful you will need:

  • A minimum Level 1 Ski or Snowboard Instructor qualification (Level 2 would be preferred).
  • The ability to lead teams, motivate others and maintain high operational standards.
  • Experience supervising or coordinating teams.
  • Experience dealing with customer queries, complaints and escalated situations.
  • A valid outdoor first aid qualification.
  • A valid Safeguarding Children for Snowsports Instructors certificate.
  • Satisfactory enhanced DBS certificate.
