BH Live is recruiting for a Hospitality Manager to join and lead our team of hospitality colleagues at Southampton's redeveloped Outdoor Sports Centre.

You will:

  • Manage and motivate a hospitality team and have responsibility for the day-to-day operation of all hospitality areas within the centre, whilst ensuring profitability.
  • Be responsible for ensuring adequate hospitality staffing levels across the centre.
  • Recruit, retain and train colleagues to ensure food standards are adhered to and our customers receive an outstanding customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing laws.
  • Build and develop strong working relationships with the police and council.
  • Ensure budgets are adhered to and maintain inventory and stock levels, ensuring efficient ordering and stock rotation.
  • Ensure our values, behaviours and standards are adhered to.

To be successful you will need:

  • To be passionate and enthusiastic about delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Previous experience in a similar role of managing a bar or hospitality venue with strong commercial acumen.
  • To hold a personal licence to be able to sell alcohol and have a Level 3 food safety qualification.
  • To be proactive and forward-thinking, bringing new, fresh and exciting ideas of improvements that can be made across the hospitality and events offering at the centre.
  • To be able to work hours aligned to the centre's opening hours, which will include working any 5 out of 7 days per week and will include evenings, bank holidays and weekend working.
